Reflexology

Reflexology works by applying pressure to specific reflex points in the feet, encouraging and inviting the body to find its balance. The reflex points in the feet correspond to every organ, gland and area of the body. Discomfort and tenderness may be felt on certain areas, but by working all areas carefully it encourages  the body’s natural energy to flow and supports the body to do what it does best, responding in ways  like releasing tension, inviting deep rest, improve energy and rebalancing, to name a few. This treatment is very relaxing, and has a positive affect on the whole body.

Reiki

Reiki is a natural healing energy, which flows through the practitioner to the client. This energy flows to where it is needed most and works on emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical levels. Reiki is a gentle non-intrusive therapy, where by the practitioner uses their hands either over or placed onto the body, and the treatment is conducted over the clients clothing. Regular Reiki practise promotes overall balance and well-being.

Reiki Drumming

"Combining Reiki and Drumming creates the Reiki Drum Technique, a method of utilising the drum to introduce Reiki energy into a person’s energy field to bring about deep relaxation thereby releasing deep seated tensions and achieving homeostasis. The drum rhythm reminds the body of its optimal vibration. There have been many scientific research studies conducted to discover the effect sound and drumming have on the human body and psyche. Research has indicated that even drumming for a short period of time can induce an alpha state, brainwaves associated with wellbeing and euphoria. Drumming helps people express and address emotional issues, aiding in the removal of blockages and producing emotional release" (Sarah Gregg 2011).
